Kale Chips

Need to satisfy that salty crunchy craving? I love making kale chips. It’s so easy to make and is only 4 ingredients!

INGREDIENTS:

Bunch of Kale

1 Tablespoon olive oil

Salt

Pepper

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper (not required but easy for cleanup)

  3. Rise kale and remove from thick stem. Cut or tear the greens into bite size pieces.

  4. Remove excess water-you could use a salad spinner but I didn’t have one so I used paper towels and dish towels to pat the kale dry! Its very important to get the kale dry or it won’t harden into “chip” form.

  5. Lay Kale out on baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil. I ran my hands through the kale and made sure each piece was coated in oil.

  6. Add salt and pepper and mixed with my hands again.

  7. Bake for 15-30 minutes until kale is brown and dry. I baked for 15 minutes that I flipped the kale around every 5 or so minutes because I didn’t want it to burn.

  8. Enjoy!
